This workshop is targeted at Advanced trainees (years 5 and 6) and new Fellows within their first few years since elevation. We also welcome new SIMGs, who may find the content relevant to support their shift to the Aotearoa New Zealand context.

A day to focus on moving into your new role, to learn about and consider:

  • the communication skills specific to your new leadership role and how to manage difficult conversations
  • how to manage your wellbeing: strategies to help you and how to access support
  • finding the role, context and personal/professional balance that enables you to thrive
  • how to prevent, manage and respond to complaints
  • your career development and learning pathways from here

An opportunity to learn from and network with your O&G colleagues, those who are stepping into the role alongside you and those who are further along the path.

Come to a networking and dinner event at Shed 5 on Sunday 18 May

Join us for a networking dinner on the Sunday evening prior to the workshop, travel on the Sunday, network with your O&G colleagues from around Aotearoa and be rested and ready for the Monday workshop.
