Professor Kumar is Head of Discipline for Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the University of Queensland’s Faculty of Medicine and Senior Staff Specialist in Maternal & Fetal Medicine/Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the Mater Mothers’ Hospital in Brisbane, Australia and co-lead of the Mothers, Babies and Women’s Health research theme at the Mater Research Institute-University of Queensland. He is an accredited MFM subspecialist both in the UK and Australia. His area of research interests is in fetal therapy, fetal imaging, placental biomarkers and the prediction of adverse perinatal outcomes.
