Cultural Safety Training - SOLD OUT

About:  AIDA's cultural safety training, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health in Clinical Practice (ATSIHiCP), is a clinically focused training program that equips Fellows and Trainees with the tools needed to integrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander holistic health and cultural safety into everyday clinical practice. 

Developed and delivered by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander doctors, the program offers participants an opportunity to better understand Indigenous health perspectives by investigating their own perceptions, asking hard questions, and beginning critical self-reflection in a culturally safe space.


Advanced Laparoscopic Workshop

Suitable for: Senior Registrars and New Fellows.

About: This workshop will provide an overview of the essential knowledge and skills required in Advanced Laparoscopic Gynaecology. Aimed towards senior registrars and Fellows within 5 years of elevation, the workshop combines theory and practical sessions covering the following topics; Overview of Anatomy, Electrosurgery, Approach to TLH and BSO, Instrument and Suture Handling and Laparoscopic Knot Tying.

About: This workshop will explore muscle-skeletal and functional conditions of the female pelvis which are unrelated to the internal genital organs and generally omitted during traditional training. Participants will have the opportunity to 'construct' an anatomical model of the pelvis.

About: The Diplomate's Day seeks to update delegates on the latest evidence on a range of commonly encountered clinical scenarios and translate this evidence into meaningful clinical applications within a General Practice context. Procedural GP Obstetricians will also gain valuable surgical skills experience refining and learning new techniques in perineal and OASI injury repair.
