Workshop description

This workshop is for RANZCOG trainees seeking education and training in evidence-based practice, critical appraisal and research design, and also those needing assistance with establishing a research project. Training supervisors are welcome to attend.
The program focusses on evidence-based medicine principles, study design and critical appraisal of the literature. Examples used will be relevant to current practice in obstetrics and gynaecology. 
This day will be both a useful update in this area and a comprehensive introduction for those just starting out. Some pre-reading will be required in order to get the most out of the critical appraisal sessions.
Please bring any questions you might have. You will have the opportunity to discuss issues around your research projects.
