Joseph A Carpini, PhD

Joseph is a lecturer of Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at the University of Western Australia, Business School. 

Since obtaining his PhD in 2018, Joseph has published several top-tier publications in both management and medicine including articles in the Academy of Management Annals and the BMJ Open. 

Joseph’s areas of expertise include individual and team performance, adaptivity, proactivity, communication, and mental health.

 Joseph is actively involved in a number of projects that bridge Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour with topics in medicine such as how operating theatre team performance can be enhanced through simple team-based interventions and the interplay between technical and non-technical demands.
