The Organising Committee are thrilled to extend a warm invitation to Fellows, trainees, Diplomates, PVOGS, midwives, medical students and allied health professionals to join us at the RANZCOG 2021 Regional Fellows Scientific Meeting, shortly following Easter, from Wednesday 7 to Saturday 10 April 2021.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Territory! for a unique experience, relaxed vibe and an opportunity to take in the natural beauty of surrounding areas.

The theme of the meeting is Outback and Beyond, with talks having a strong regional focus on day-to-day matters within obstetrics and gynaecology. We will also take a glimpse beyond our borders to our nearest neighbours, and discover how to become involved in activities in these regions. 

The four-day program begins with two days of practical pre-conference workshops, including a dedicated Diplomates Day for general practitioners (GPs). The Friday and Saturday scientific program is designed to appeal to both specialists and generalists encouraging innovative solutions and applications.

Highlights include an Address by the National Rural Health Commissioner, Adjunct Professor Ruth Stewart, an Address by the Minister, The Hon Natasha Fyles, a Keynote Address by Professor Kerry Arabena, a Q&A Session with the RANZCOG Board, and a dedicated global health session, including how to get involved.

There are opportunities to relax and engage with other professionals at our three social functions which will be held around key iconic Darwin locations taking in the setting sun whilst overlooking the ocean. There are a myriad of places to discover in and around Australia's northern most capital city, including the spectacular natural wonders of the Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks.
