AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT AUSTRADE BUSINESS EVENTS GRANTS

On 11 September 2020 the Australian Government announced it would establish the $50 million Business Events Grants program. The program is funded under the $1 billion Relief and Recovery Fund which is providing assistance to sectors, regions and communities disproportionately affected by the economic impacts of COVID-19.

The Business Events Grant program aims to support the event industry, including the tourism sector, by funding Australian businesses to participate as buyers or sellers at pre-approved business events including exhibitions, conferences and conventions from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2021.

HOW TO APPLY

The Business Events program provides eligible buyers and sellers (exhibitors/suppliers) with financial support to attend and participate at exhibitions, conferences and conventions.

The RANZCOG 2021 Regional Fellows Scientific Meeting has been listed on the Schedule of Approved Business Events on the Australian Government’s Australian Trade and Investment Commission's (Austrade's) website.

Eligible businesses can apply for funding under the Business Events Grants Program to cover up to 50% of the cost of participating in the RANZCOG 2021 Regional Fellows Scientific Meeting.

Grants from $10,000 to $250,000 per entity are available. Applicants are able to apply for multiple events listed on the Schedule of Approved Business Events. Note: The minimum grant amount is $10,000.

Grant applications close at 5pm (AEDT) on Tuesday 30 March 2021 or earlier if funding is exhausted.
