Where is the 2026 Regional Symposium being held?

Busselton, Western Australia. Busselton is a lively coastal town set along the sheltered waters of Geographe Bay. 

Where is the 2026 Regional Symposium located?

Saltwater Busselton One of Australia’s newest convention and performing arts venues. Delegates at the 2026 Regional Symposium will be among the first to enjoy this impressive new facility.

How do I get to Busselton?

Saltwater Busselton is located in the city's cultural and foreshore precincts, about 2.5 hours south of Perth and just 9km from Busselton Margaret River Airport.

How do I get to Saltwater from the airport?

Taxi of Rideshare:  A taxi or rideshare is a simple option. The 15km journey takes about 18 minutes.

By Car:  Avis, Hertz, Europcar, and Southwest Rent-A-Car operate from the airport (advance booking recommended). The drive is roughly 15 km and takes 18 minutes.

Shuttle or Private Transfers: The BATS shuttle runs between the airport and Busselton CBD for around $30 per person one way. For a stress-free option, you can pre-book private transfers with local providers like The Journey Margaret River, Harvest Tours, or luxury chauffeur services.

Is there car parking at the venue?

Yes, car parking is available at Saltwater Busselton.




Is there a Trade Exhibition?

The trade exhibition is a key part of the Symposium, giving delegates the chance to meet representatives from leading obstetrics and gynaecology companies and discover the latest products and trends. The program is designed to allow plenty of time to visit the exhibition, with morning and afternoon tea and lunch served in the trade area.

Are there any Social Functions?

A Welcome Function will be held on Friday 21 August at Saltwater Busselton, and the ticketed Symposium Dinner on Saturday 22 August at Hilton Garden Inn Busselton.

Can I volunteer at the 2026 Regional Symposium? 

We encourage locally based medical students to apply for volunteer positions. Expressions of Interest (EOI) will open shortly.

Can I submit an Abstract or Poster? 

Yes! We are now accepting abstract submissions for ePosters, Static Posters, and Free Communication presentations. More information can be found on our Abstract Page. 

Insurance

Delegates are strongly advised to arrange travel and health insurance. Registration fees do not include insurance, and the Working Group and RANZCOG accept no responsibility for any related loss.

Information provided on the registration form will be used to manage the Symposium, including accommodation, catering, transport, sponsorship, and exhibition. All data remains the property of RANZCOG.
