Urogynaecology workshop
"Back to basics, skills for the future"

This is a workshop designed for generalist SMOs and RANZCOG trainees to provide a skill set for managing patients with urogynae issues that are frequently encountered in general gynaecology practice.
This workshop includes clay model session, an anatomical workshop that provides correlation between theoretical anatomical concepts and clinical applications through physically building the muscular and fascial pelvic supports.

Advanced Laparoscopy Workshop - practical operating experience

Obstetric Anal Sphincter Injury Surgery (OASIS) Workshop

This workshop will look at the classification of tears, anatomy and physiology, recognition and repair techniques and management. Followed by a practical suturing session. Participants are requested to make their own way to the Centre.

Gain a basic understanding of the neurobiology of Chronic Pain in general, and specific to Chronic Pelvic Pain. This workshop covers: the dangers of inappropriate diagnosis and treatment, traps for young players, when to say no – and what to say instead, self-management – what it is, and how to make a start (in non-specialist/community settings) and suitable resources to provide or recommend.
