Workshop aims: 

  • To discuss challenges and repercussions of contraception in a changing climate in the Pacific based on sexual reproductive health and rights.
  • To discuss the challenges to contraception and consequences in the Pacific Islands during a pandemic.
  • To introduce new and innovative family planning methods in the Pacific (DMPA and Implanon), needs assessment and furthering agenda for family planning in the Pacific.

Workshop description: This workshop is for doctors, nurses, midwives and allied health and family planning workers.
